C. Larry Horne, ASID, founded Horne International Designs,. Inc. in 1982. After Mr. Horne received a B.F.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University, Magna Cum Laude, he began his design career at Alderman Studios in High Point, NC as a set designer. After one year he joined W & J Sloane, Inc. where he worked for 14 years as a master designer. In addition to his educational and professional background in the United States, Mr. Horne has studied design and architecture in Europe, and has traveled in the Middle East and the Orient. His design work overseas as well as his extensive work domestically has enabled him to develop a well rounded portfolio. Horne International Designs, Inc., based in Bethesda, includes three associate designers, an architect, and various support staff, all of whom have contributed to various projects in Wahington, Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Colorado, New York, London, France Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
